Everyone is so focused on Thanksgiving dinner that they’re neglecting breakfast — well, not today! We’re sharing our favorite waffle recipes. Enjoy! When we think of breakfast, waffles are high on our list of “best foods,” and it’s not just because we’ve fallen in love with the Netflix series Stranger Things. Sure, we agree with the character Eleven that Eggo waffles are downright “fills your mouth with a happy dance” good, but you know what’s even better than this store-bought favorite? Homemade waffles. Today we have a few recipes that we’re dying to share. Have you ever tasted a cinnamon roll waffle? What about red velvet? With Thanksgiving nearly here, there’s no better time to share these delicious recipes than now. (Need a break from all that pumpkin and turkey overload, are we right?) Look out world, Eden Prairie, MN just got a little cooler with these great waffle recipes. Insanely Great Waffles with Buttered Pecan Syrup from Lick The Bowl Good These waffles topped with Buttered Pecan Syrup are delicious and filling. They make for the perfect weekend morning breakfast. To make them you’ll need these ingredients: all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, whole milk or buttermilk, vegetable oil, an egg, sugar, vanilla extract, chopped pecans, butter, and maple syrup. Cinnamon Roll Waffles from Recipe Girl You can’t go wrong with these waffles; they’re fluffy and full of the tasty flavors that can be promised from a warmly baked cinnamon roll. You’ll need all-purpose flour, white sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, eggs, buttermilk, canola oil, vanilla extract, butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. Red Velvet Waffles from Barbara Bakes Here’s another recipe that may be mixing dessert and breakfast, but it’s so worth your time. Stock up on these ingredients to make it: all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, unsalted butter, brown sugar, eggs, buttermilk, unsweetened cocoa powder, and red liquid food coloring.
